Certification in Advanced Equine Fascial Release Techniques

Accredited with Rural Skills & IAAMB

Aimed at qualified equine body workers, wishing to expand their "tool box" of skills and delve deep into the world of fascia. The Certification course will provide an insight into the structure of fascia to enable you to fully understand its affect on the movement and lameness within the equine patient. You will learn various types of release techniques for general use across the body and advanced area specific techniques.

The course is structured in two different ways:

Option 1 . A 3 day, in person "Hands on" option, held at The Academy in Stafford, this course will run once a year during the summer months.

The hands on practical sessions will help develop your feel for fascial adhesions and learn how to test for restrictions. You will receive a course module and access to an online library with videos of each fascial release technique, to allow you to practice your skills correctly after each course, we appreciate that there's a lot to learn and being able to refer to content after the course, is invaluable.

Cost - £795

Option 2. An online only option, offering the same content as option 1, but with lifetime access to a comprehensive video library to demonstrate the techniques.

Cost - £495

Both options will cover the same content - the course will introduce you to the science of fascia and the internet like web it forms, around the equine body. You will develop an understanding of how everything is connected and learn why when one area of the body is compromised through injury or trauma, this may result in a visible lameness or restriction elsewhere. General release techniques will be covered initially, to help you develop a seamless whole body treatment, and the latter part of the course will delve deep into more advanced techniques - you will learn how to treat specific areas of the head and neck, forelimb, hindlimb, back and core, essentially the whole of the fascial web!

To qualify as an Accredited Practitioner the course must be completed in its entirety for both options, and an online multiple choice exam be successfully passed.
