Horse Owners Massage Workshop

Learn the basic massage moves to help keep your horse soft & supple between professional treatments. A 1 day course for anyone competent in handling horses, no anatomy knowledge required. Learn the basic anatomy & develop an understanding of how your horse moves.

Upon enrolment you willl receive immediate access to the online material, this includes everyou will cover on the practical day, includes videos & quick reference anatomy guides. The online material has lifetime access so you may refer back at any point when practicing your skills.

During the practical day you will spend the morning in the Academy learning about muscles and bones of the horse - our skeletal specimens and life-sized painted horse "Fergus" will help make this easy for you!! In the afternoon you will move out onto the yard and learn about the various hand placements and massage moves, putting this into practice with the Academy horses.

The course is based at the Academy in Stafford and will run on May 18th 2024 from 9.30am - 4pm
