Advanced Stretching for Therapists

During the one day course you will gain a deeper understanding of how various types of basic and more advanced stretching techniques can help the horse. Understand the various muscle groups each stretch will be affecting and how each technique can be used to improve specific joint range of motion. You will learn safe and correct positional holds, mobilisations to loosen tight muscles and joints,  realign the horse's body, and help to prevent injury. The course will cover full body stretching to include spine, shoulder work, ribcage, pelvis, tail and limbs.

You will be provided with a printed manual, video library and plenty of opportunity to practice and fine tune your skills on the Academy horses.
